Shavuot

Throughout Commencement weekend, Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale (80 Wall St, across Silliman College), in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary and Vice President for Student Life at Yale, will offer a number of Shabbat and Shavuot holiday services and kosher meals. Yale University will work with families to make arrangements for on campus rooms for observant Jews who do not drive on Shabbat and holy days, special graduate photo sessions before Shabbat, and other accommodations required to ensure our observant graduates and their families can celebrate their accomplishments. If you would like to be placed on a mailing list for more information please email the Commencement Office.

Please note that the listing of events below is tentative; we may update or change proposed Shabbat and holiday events based on interest level. More details will be posted on the Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life website as they become available.
