Yale’s 325th Commencement, Monday, May 18, 2026

The following message was sent from Secretary and Vice President for University Life, Kimberly M. Goff-Crews to students in the Yale College Class of 2026 on November 25, 2025.


Dear Members of the Class of 2026, 
 
It is my great pleasure to invite you to Yale University’s 325th Commencement.  
 
Commencement Weekend activities for graduating students and their guests will begin on Sunday, May 17, and culminate in the University Commencement Ceremony on Monday, May 18 on our historic Old Campus.  
 
The major ceremonies of the weekend are: 
 
Baccalaureate | Sunday, May 17, at 10:00 a.m. on Old Campus 
Class Day | Sunday, May 17, at 2:00 p.m. on Old Campus  
Commencement Ceremony | Monday, May 18, at 10:30 a.m. on Old Campus  
Diploma Ceremonies | Monday, May 18, at approximately noon in the residential colleges  
 
Each Yale College graduating student will receive four (4) tickets that will enable their guests to enter Old Campus for the University Commencement Ceremony on Monday morning.  
 
As Commencement draws nearer, we will provide further details on how to register for your tickets. 
 
Guests who do not have tickets for Old Campus can watch the live-streamed ceremony on screens and in viewing rooms on campus or on the Yale YouTube channel.  
 
Tickets are not required for the Baccalaureate, Class Day, and Diploma ceremonies. 
 
Please use the Commencement website as your best source for information. Details about ceremonies and other activities, dining, on-campus housing options, announcement cards, and other Commencement orders will be updated in the coming months. You may also receive college-specific information from your residential college.
